Fotografías del investigador del ICTAN Antonio D. Molina, premiadas en el prestigioso certamen Tokyo International Foto Awards (TIFA 2024)

La serie fotográfica “The Artist-Scientist Hand Acting On The Microworld”, presentada por el Dr. Antonio D. Molina García, ha resultado premiada en la sección Special / Science / Technology del prestigioso concurso de fotografía Tokyo International Foto Awards (TIFA 2024). Las imágenes fueron obtenidas empleando microfotografías electrónicas de barrido como fondo y pretenden sugerir la interacción entre el artista/científico con la naturaleza, el micro y el macrocosmos: The hand of the Artist/Photographer/Scientist acting on the “other side”: the Artwork/the Image, or in this case, the  Microworld which parallels the Macroworld, the whole Universe. Photographs taken with an electron micrograph displayed on a computer screen as a background. The micrograph is a low-temperature scanning electron micrograph from the author, showing a starch granule partially gelatinized by high hydrostatic pressure. Or may be an astronomical scale event?
